A brand new Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive heavily modified to include high specification audiophile components in critical areas, twin stacked TI RC4558P chips and a vintage Germanium transistor for bigger, smoother distortion.

This overcomes the weaknesses in the tone of the standard model - the SD-1 5-Star has increased drive and transparency, great hi-fi tube tone and low noise.

Diode switch
Our SD-1 modification now includes a diode switch (not shown in photo) to give you an extra fat sounding mode. We have also improved the bypass switching to reduce bleed-through.
