"I use the Java Boost the classic way as the only effect, directly
in front of the amp.
Mostly I play it with single coil equipped guitars (Strat, Tele ...)
and in front of my old Fender 4x10" Bassman from 1959. Even this is
not a Class-A amp you can get all the famous sounds you want, from Brian
May to Black Sabbath, all in one small box.
Itīs really like described in the manual - there are three different
boxes inside this pedal! The pure treble boost has a nice edgy character
and cuts through any mix. The mid-boost is my favourite and delivers
walls of tone. Even chords sound very good and not muddy at all. The
fullrange-boost is a special thing - it sounds great to fatten up your
solo lines but beware of chords" Dirk Wacker , on Harmony
