Man what an amazing pedal. I am astounded by how easy it is to dial
in different sounding tones with this thing. The best part is they are
all still soulful and have precense. Just the suggestions on the sheet
that comes with it, give you some killer in the pocket tones. ...I use
Gibson LP Customs through a Boss GT-6 into an old Marshall Plexi head
into a 60s Sunn 4x12 cab. The GT-6 has a model of the Tubescreamer 808
built in. It is actually pretty good. But I tell you there is nothing
like the real deal.

Setting it up as a clean boost into my amp within the verge of break
up literally feels like I added a 2X12 cabinet! The notes bloomed with
clarity and sustain greatly increased. Adding more "dirt" brought the
tone into a very nasty "texas-overdrive sound that reminded of Stevie's
overdriven fenders. I played Pride and Joy and Texas Flood literally
ten times with complete satisfaction in my tone. Very convincing SRV,
with a very smooth, yet biting attack on bass notes as well as the upper-end.
